Camp Unidad is more than a camp, it's a Spanish language and culture experience.
We started it in 2022 in order to expose young children to the basics of Spanish so that they would be encouraged to begin their language learning journey.
8:30-9:00 am Drop-off
8:30-9:00 am Morning snack and review of the lesson
9:00-11:00 am The day's lesson is taught through presentations, videos, songs, games, and crafts
11:00-11:30 am Lunch
11:30-12:30 pm Free time (likely takes place at the nearby Pocket Park if the weather permits)
12:30-2:30 pm Resume the day's lesson/ activities
2:30 pm Pick-up begins
$50 non-refundable registration fee
$250 for the week (for 1 child)
$100 for the week for any additional children
The non-refundable $50 registration fee secures your child's spot in the camp. The cost of the camp covers the child's participation, all materials, snacks, lunch, and a camp t-shirt.

Yes!
Yes. We have no problem with this. However, you will not be reimbursed/ receive money back because your child does not eat/drink what we have provided for them.
No. These are a distraction to both the camp and your child's learning. If you care to check in on them, you are welcome to give one of the teacher's a call, and you can speak with your child that way.
Tasha has a teacher's license with the State of Arkansas and has been teaching since 2017. She carries bachelor and master's degrees in Spanish and has lived in/visited a variety of Spanish-speaking countries. As a state licensed teacher, Tasha has undergone and passed a background check.
